最近開始聽ICRT，因為聽說常播McFLY的歌…
可是　每次都被我錯過:[
不過　倒是可以聽到不少好聽的英文歌:]
順便訓練英文聽力吧？！（老實說我幾乎聽不懂廣播主持人在說什麼！！（汗

最近聽到一首歌，起初我還不知道誰唱的？歌名？
只知道副歌一直round… Oh~ it's what you do to me...
我還把它聽成 Oh~ it's what to do for(the) me...
可是想想文法不對，句子怪怪的？！
用搜尋引擎找這首歌真正的歌名，
原來是Plain White T's的「Hey there Delilah」。

這首歌會吸引我，是因為木吉他伴奏，聽起來有淡淡的憂傷，
還有主唱Tom Higgenson好像在用唱歌來說話… @@"

其實這首「Hey there Delilah」並不是新歌，
早在2005年PWTs所發行的「All that we needed」專輯就已經收錄了，
獨立發行為單曲兩年之後，這首歌成為他們打進美國主流市場的第一首歌，
是Billboard單曲熱門榜21年來，由第16名到第6名，在慢慢爬到第1名的單曲，
這首歌在世界各國也有不錯的成績，
後來發行的專輯「Every Second Counts」也收錄這首歌。

＊創作靈感

這首歌的創作靈感來自於一位叫Delilah DiCrescenzo的女生，
（她畢業於哥倫比亞大學，在布萊恩瑪學院擔任田徑助教，
同樣也是2008年奧運障礙賽跑的選手。）
是經由他們共同的朋友介紹而認識的，
事實上他們之間沒有發生任何事，說起來有點可笑可悲，
歌詞裡的所說的故事並不是真的。

Tom Higgenson said:

There was never anything between us.
It was kind of funny — kind of sad, actually.
The story of my life...
I thought she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen.
I told her, 'I have a song about you already.'
Obviously, there was no song. But I thought it was smooth...
這首歌花了Tom一年多的時間寫，
但是生活中的Delilah並沒有因為這首歌而愛上Tom，因為他已經有男朋友了，
反而造成了她生活上不少的困擾和壓力，讓她不知該如何解決。

Delilah said:
It was so beautifully written. There was pressure to live up to this ideal.
I didn't know how to be polite but, you know, ditch him.
Deliah also said:

When I'm at the gym, it's playing; when I'm at the pool, it's playing.
Part of me wants to scream at the top of my lungs that it's about me.
Another part of me wants to cower and say it's not.

Delilah is actually an older song.
It was on our last record actually.
We were on an independent label, and it kind of had some success on the indie level, the underground level with our fans and stuff.
We signed to a major label, Hollywood Records,
and we recorded a record just like any other record we would record.
Delilah wasn't...
We didn't put it on there because it was an older song but through time,
fans just kept on...Every show we'd play everyone in the crowd would be singing along to that song.
That was just a song that really resonated with people.
So we decided to put it as a bonus track on our CD,
so that's when it started to go to radio, and it became a hit I guess.
